Jay Talbot’s Ramblings

Coming home after a long time away. I decided that it might be interesting to go and play on my old server, Iseult, a couple of weeks ago. I’ve played my minstrel some, but I also decided to roll a heretic. I’m pretty much a casual player now. I don’t have hours and hours to play. After all, I have been in search for companionship for sometime now. Anyhow, after a couple of weeks soloing though dungeons, I finally got him up to 20 and took him to thid. Man, seemed like everyone was red to me. I decided to go grab a quick level so most everyone would be at least orange to me. Tonight, I finally got to really play him for an amount of time longer than say, an hour. Mwuahahaha! It was fun! The group I got in just mowed over a lot of enemies, but we got rolled a couple of times too. No biggie, right?

Well, I’ve made a very sucessful switch to a new and faster server. The old server, well, it wasn’t that old, but the company it was under got sold. It lead to several things I didn’t like, including down time, so I hope this one will do us better.

I don’t have a lot of time to say much of anything, so I’ll leave it at that for now…. Maybe more later….

I’ve been pretty quiet lately. Kind of preparing myself for a possible confrontation. You see, I can smell it in the air. I can smell trouble coming and it’s not going to be pretty. Here’s the short of it. I’m the organizer of a meepup group and I’m not real enthused about what’s going on. There’s a subgroup that’s happening in it and their business about took over the the meetup. Ok, I’m not involved in this subgroup, and have little interest in such for my own reasons. If this crap continues, I’m going to have to make some rules about recruiting, business not pretaining to the meetup, and a few other things. I’ve been pretty liberal and loose with the rules so far, but it’s just plain annoying for lack of a better word.
