Another day in the neighborhood….
Ok, it’s official. I’m on my new schedule…. With, of course, no increase
in pay, but a lot of increase in responsibility…. I know I should have
played some hardball for a raise, but I know how this company’s HR works.
I’m not holding my breath of a raise or actual title change. Why? Because
there’s another operator on another shift that’s in a lead position and
he’s been waiting on his raise and title change for over a year now. I’d
say they owe him some back pay, wouldn’t you? Anyway, I’m pretty stoked
about getting weekends off, and that’ll be the best part about this
change.
