As I Celebrated my 31st Birthday this week….
Monday was my birthday. I’m 31 years old now…. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about that. I was kind of not expecting to make it this far I guess. I never expected to come this far in life and really had no plans. Oh well, guess it’s time to move on and go with what’s going on in my life.
As I celebrated my birthday earlier this week, I’m now mourning the loss of someone who inspired me as a child and young adult to get involved in Technology. His name was James Doohan and he played Scotty in the original Star Trek series and the 7 movies involving the original TV cast. He’s best known for “Beam me up, Scotty!” which was actually never uttered in the series or movies. He died at the age of 85 years young on 07/19/2005. In other news…. Well, I’ll make another post later about that…. I’m just kinda bumed now. Maybe more later….
