WOOT! It’s about frickin’ time! Speculation about this has been going on for the last couple of years. It’s gone from the “what if” stage to the “it’s here now” stage.
That’s right! Google has become quite the “cool free stuff” company. They have put out their own IM/VoIP client and service. On top of that, you can also use any Jabber enabled IM client out there, but the Google client is simple and useful. Of course, you need to have a Gmail account to get it to work. If you don’t have one, send me a some feedback with your name and the email address you want me to send the invite to.
Guess that’s it for now! Maybe more later….
