Author’s Guild Sues Google…..

People are often highly misguided in claims, especially when they have no bases in reality. The Author’s Guild has taken it upon their selves to sue Google for “plain and brazen violation of copyright law.” Wow! Those are pretty strong words for a baseless accusation. First off, none of the works mentioned in their press release are on Google Print. Secondly, they usually have a “Provided by:” link on each page of the book.

Be honest with yourselves? Do you honestly think Google would have went into this venture if they were truely doing something wrong? Think about it? Does it make sense that a large and public company, such as Google, would not have their heads, and leagions of lawyers, around what they could and could not do? It seems like the RIAA, et al., aren’t the only greedy one’s to speak of….

Maybe more later….
