Gaming and beyond….
I recieved an email from a gentleman, a CCO, who is just getting a gaming site up and running. Naturally, he wants all sorts of content when it goes live. He also wants plenty of people to go and visit the site. This is not a bad thing, after all, you do want *something* for your targeted visitors to read when starting a new site, especially if it’s geared towards the gaming crowd.
One thing that struck a chuckle out of me though was that he called my blog a “gaming site.” Granted, yes, I do post a lot about games, but I would hardly call this a blog for gamers. I’m just me, and right now, virtual reality looks much better than reality, so that’s what I’m concentrating on. On the other hand, I’m not just a gamer. I’m a lover, a fighter, a daydreamer, sometimes a sadist, sometimes a masocist, sometimes a narcissist, or sometimes all of the above at once. It’s really a mood thing, and being a Cancer, my moods change with the tides. So, really, I can’t classify this site as a “gaming” blog. It’s my personal blog. It’s whatever I feel like writing about. I’m actually thinking about posting my thoughts on the whole ICANN/VeriSign settlement later on today. But in the meantime, go ahead and visit Lightning Games Media if you’re into gaming, and maybe submit something, it’s tough getting fresh articles and such. I’ll be adding them to my links section, probably under a new Gaming News section. Stay tooned!
