Heh, it’s great! My SPAM filters are working as intended. It’s caught 5 in the last week and a half. Kinda makes me think it’s getting a bit more popular if the spammers think it’s worth posting to. Of course, they are the only comments being posted at this time….. Oh well, maybe some day I’ll get some readers who will leave real, honest to goodness, comments.

I promise that I won’t bring charges against anyone who annoys me on here. I allow anon comments, so do what you want within reason. I draw the line at serious threats against myself and my loved ones. Annoying someone online should not be a crime. To slightly paraphrase a post on Slashdot “I don’t need federal protection from that Orc who keeps /chickening my Night Elf.”

Ok, so it seems I’m changing gears a bit this week. I haven’t been able to play much WoW, but that’s because I’ve had other things going on.
Tuesday night we went to our first meeting at the local dog obedience club. It was great! We didn’t take the puppy, but should have. Anyway, we talked to some very nice people, and one lady in particular about our little girl. She gave us some demonstrations of different things we can do to break some bad habits our puppy has like trying to “herd” us by nipping at our heals, chewing, and how to get her to come on command. We also talked about potty training some. Now the puppy, being almost 9 weeks old, is learning potty training pretty well. She’s learning to let us know she has to go outside, and we’re learning to watch her. Accidents are in decline, and no solid accidents ina bout 2 days.
There is a time in every puppy’s life where they must, without prior warning, have a bath. Why? Because they smell too much like…… a puppy! Cerwyn, our 8 week old Sheltie, got her first bath yesterday, and I have blackmail pics to prove it (no pic posts yet, need a Flickr account). She looked like a wet rat, it was great! Lots of splashing too! She no longer smells like puppy, but something resembling a car air freshener.
Also, we’re most likely going to a local dog obedience club meeting this Tuesday. It should be great, but I have a deep-seeded fear of clubs (some bad experiences) so we’ll see.
That’s right! I’ve upgraded the site to WP 2.0, which has some very nice new features. Unfortunatly, unless you run one, you won’t see the neat new stuff! I think everyone should run a blog, if nothing else just to get things off your chest. It helps tons!
