Jay Talbot’s Ramblings

Ok, so I went to go see Riverdance lastnight, before work. I must say, they have quite an impressive show with lots of very talented dancers. Sure, I’ve seen a tape and all, knew mostly what to expect, but I was simply blown away. Besides all that though, it made me miss clogging even more, but alas that’s another story…

The show began as one would expect, with announcements about upcoming shows by some goofy guy. lol! Well, we was goofy really. Shortly after that, the curtain finally raised. It was amazing they packed their stage setup and band onto that stage, which really isn’t all that big really (I’ve performed on it once or twice myself, back in the day). The lights dimed, and the show finally began.

It was quite possible the best show of dance and music talent I’d ever seen. Coming from a dance background, it says a lot. How do you describe such a show? I couldn’t even begin to start. So I’ll leave you with that. Sure, I could go on and on about it, but their site can give you a far better description of the show, and you should experience it first hand. Amazing!
