Over the years I’ve made many mistakes, but there’s one mistake that sticks out like an extra arm. That mistake was my last attempt at buying a vehicle. I’m bringing this up now because I’m in the market again for a used vehicle, and am looking at the prospect of possibly dealing with used salesmen again. I’m going to tell you how I got suckered into taking a crappy vehicle at huge monthly payments.
Can you believe that? After days of speculation, it finally comes out: AMD is buying ATI.
To me, this is a very good thing all the way around. It means that AMD will be put on a more even playing field with Intel. Why? Well, for years Intel has been making their own motherboard chipset to go along with their processers, now it’s AMD’s turn.
Let me explain. ATI creates more than just excellent video chipsets, they also create chipset for motherboards; think ATI Crossfire. This will allow for better compatability between ATI chipset motherboards and AMD processers. I think this is the real reason AMD and ATI are getting into bed together, and it makes a ton of sense.

Holy crap! Now you see? Gamers are not all gun toting, maniacal individuals who go on killing sprees. Many of them are true and honest people who find a certain satisfaction in certain types of games. There is a type of community when it comes to online gameing. If you still don’t believe me after reading this story, you need to have your head examined because then you’re just lieing to yourself.
Ok, I found a new VIoP service called ZingoTel. They have a pretty long list of available service areas, even through they may take a few days to process. The service will cost me 14.95 per month, and I’m getting all the bells and whistles I got with Lingo (not gonna send them any business). What follows is why I switched.
Well, Tuesday I turn 32. I always thought I’d be someone by now. Instead, I’m no one of importants. I’m just plain old Jay. It’s kind of depressing really.
On a lighter note, I did get two presents so far. My girlfriend gave me a 19′ LCD flat-panel monitor, and mom gave me $75 towards an infrared illuminator for my camcorder. Of course, there was some question if I was actually going to get the monitor, then I offered to help out which made everything ok then. lol! How convenient huh? The new monitor has an awesome response time! WoW, DVD’s, videos…. It all plays pretty sweet! Anyway, the IR illuminator should be here next week.
