I’m enjoying my iPod….
I’ve had my iPod for a while now, and it’s a nice toy. I’m using it a lot, especially in my truck, with the iPod adapter to my HD Radio. It’s really a sweet deal. I’ll be poor for a while now, but happy none the less. I’m even thinking about replacing some of my less quality mp3’s with new copies from iTunes. I figure I can burn an audio CD’s with iTunes, then rip them to iso files for safe keeping. After all, CD-R’s are only usable for about 2 years with normal use, 5 years if you don’t touch them in a climate controlled environment.
Ok, I know I sound like an Apple fanboi, but I’m not. I just see a good value in my iPod. Not to mention, buying songs I want for $.99 a pop is a better deal than buying a CD where 95% of the songs suck. Granted, I make no bones about it. I’ve already spent plenty on songs and videos on iTunes, and I plan to spend more.
Gawds, the next thing you know, I’ll be buying a frickin’ iMac. Not going to happen in the foreseeable future. I wouldn’t have the money if I wanted one. Heh, would be ironic though. I used to hate Mac’s with a passion. Actually, that’s not true. It’s just a computing environment. It was more the snooty Mac user attitude that turned me off. Funny, now that the Mac is becoming more popular, it’s no longer a niche platform for the uppity-up users. I smile every time I think about it. lol!
