Rare WoW moments for me….
This past weekend, I took back a little piece of myself. I sat down Friday night at my computer, logged into WoW, and began playing. I set myself a goal, which was to hit level 54.
I hit 54 Friday night by grinding out in Eastern Plague Lands (EPL) for not only experience, but faction with Argent Dawn (AD). Let me tell ya, it’s not easy out there with the place constantly getting farmed by 60’s, but I got the right amount of kills for this deed of valor. 
AD has some really nice armor when you hit exhaulted, which I intend to do.
Saturday night, again, I sat down to play WoW. I login and a friend is on. She’s a good friend, and perhaps the chemistry is there for later. Anyway, she decides we’re going to group. The next thing I know, I’m going to Scholomance (Scholo) for a little dungeon romp with some undead critters. Of course, I’m the lowest in the group, so I get pwnd a few times, but I make more than enough loot to make up for the loss in repairs. I’m getting ahead of myself….
Anyway, we’re making our rounds down there. I stop noticing the “+5 Reputation Argent Dawn” messages that flash on my screen all together and concentrate on just the fights at hand. I’m a hunter, lower level than should be in there, but a hunter none the less, which means I’m expected for at least some DPS. So I roll along, taking a few for the team and all. Holy crap! I look down and my experience bar is over half way through! Ok, so now we’ve fought about half through, when we come to this, for lack of a better word, mini-boss. She’s an elite (which means she has abilities a few levels above what her level is) that has mind control, and I can’t remember her name. This fight probably took 15-20 minutes, for which I’m dead the majority of. But it was entertaining if nothing else. She kept sommoning gargoyle things and taking over our party members. lol! Hell, my firend killed me. lmao! After they kill her, and I get my res, we make our way down to to this chamber full of huge undead elite level 60+ mobs that have their guts showing. One by one, we pulled them in this little room and killed them. After that, we hunter AOE’d some swarm mobs. Final boss time! Longer story shorter, we whiped… The other hunters pet got agro first, and damn near took everyone out. The second time, mine did it. lol! Ok, so no pets allowed next time. When it was all over, I had some decent loot, I was considered “friendly” (up from neutral) with AD, and I lacked 4 bars from level 55.
I went out to EPL, killed a few more mobs, and got my 55. 2 levels in 2 days. Now, if I can do this the next couple of weekends, I’ll be set for 60 very soon! Can’t wait! But then, Blizz will up the level cap and so the leveling continues.
