Finally got my Apple iMac!!!

Yup! I’ve gone and joined the darkside and bought myself a shiny new 20″ iMac! What’s this mean? Well, not much to many people, but plenty to me.

First, let’s just say I’ve gotten sick and tired of the latest bullshit from Microsoft. Vista is a mess in every review I’ve read. Sure, you got some apologists out there who say it ain’t that bad; fuck’em. If they want a fully controlled environment, let’em have it. I don’t want functionality crippled in my computer that I paid good money for, just because a part manufacturer didn’t get a signed driver out. I’ve voted with my wallet, and I voted NO to the RIAA/MPAA restraints Microsoft installed in their latest and greatest OS. They can suck a fat donkey dong for all I care.

I am a nerd!

And I can prove it too!

I am nerdier than 99% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

All hail to king baby!

Maybe more later….

What would you podcast about?

It’s a hypothetical…. I’m trying to figure out what I’d want to podcast about. It looks like it’s all been done before. :( Here are the things I love…. Clogging (dancing that is), dogs, technology, gadgets, and music.

Apple, how do you play that sweet movie?

OK, no big shock. Everyone knew what Apple had up it’s sleeve with movies being sold through iTunes. It also wasn’t a huge shock that they’d be priced at $9.99USD for “library” movies and $14.99USD for new releases. All this has been in the rumor mills for a while now.

Now, let’s get to the upgraded iPods. :)

First we have the new iPod nanos. These things are pretty slick with new anodized aluminumn cases, and a brighter screen. They also come in several flavors. The “cheap” on is $149USD, 2GB of storage, and comes in silver. The next one up sells for $199USD, has 4GB of storage, and comes in silver, green, blue, and pink. The $249 iPod nano comes in black, with 8GB of storage. They look cool, and as always, I’m sure they sound awesome.

Life without Games?

There was a time in my life when I didn’t play any MMO’s at all. It wasn’t until I was on my own that I started playing them actually. It’s my way of blowing off steam, meeting new people, it was cheap, and I had time to burn. It seems as though the time I get to spend in my favorite games grows ever smaller, being taken up by more urgent needs and wants, health being a big one. I imagine at some point I’ll have to either force time for games, or give them up completely. I don’t relish the thought of giving them up all together. So what’s a guy to do?
