Jay Talbot’s Ramblings

Once upon a time, there was this kid. He was in high school and was evolved in many extracurricular activities. One of these activities involved being in the band. As fate would have it, he went to band camp for a couple of weeks out of the summer for a little fun and some constructive learning. During the summer of 1990, he went to band camp and met a wonderful girl there. They kissed, held hands, and spend loads of spare time together. Alas, the time was too short and the two went their separate ways, but promised to call and write each other.

I’m going to guess school is in and there are a lot of lonely women out there. I’ve been contacted via IM by about 4 women in the last few days, most leading me to believe they have some sort of interest in me. It’s freakin’ me out! I can handle 2, maybe 3, women if my pocketbook holds out, but we’re talking way too many. I think I’m going to quit signing in for a while and only use Google Talk. I mean come on, I have more than I can handle already, no use in getting too greedy. lmao! Besides, the old saying is “get me some” not “get me some, then some more, then even more, and then maybe get a 5min break, then get some more.” That can kill a man! lol!

Tuesday night, I spent the evening with…. She knows who she is. It was really nice to see her again. I so missed her. I shaved off my goatee, and she liked it. On the other hand, April liked the goatee more. I think I’ll keep shaved….

Yes, yesterday morning I did go over to April’s house. Yes, we did some things that probably should not have happened. No, it does not change the way I feel. In a way I wish it had, but it didn’t. I think I’m going to break it off today….. It just doesn’t make much sense to me to even go any farther than we have….

I haven’t been home much the past week, but only to sleep….. “Why?” You ask? Because, I’ve been going out a lot. I’ve developed a bit of a problem, but I’ll start with 3 days back….

You see, I agreed to meet this young lady named April a few days ago. We went to Ruby Tequila’s for Mexican food. It all went pretty well, was kind of a last minute thing really. It was pretty decent really. We had fajitas for two, and sat and visited, mostly talking about her and her family. That’s pretty nice because I like to get the scoop on the who I’m dating, and maybe some background to see if they might be psycho-hose-beasts. Anyway, after we went to Hastings to sit in their big, confy chairs and talked some more. Before we knew it, it was time for me to go to work. bleh, but ok.
