Let’s stop oil prices!

Prices at the pump are squeezing people and their wallets around the world. At over $4.00 per gallon for gas, over $145 per barrel of oil, and the current sorry state of domestic drilling, something positive has to be done. What if there were a way to drive down the price oil and the price of gas, and hurt oil speculators? There is! Read on for more information..

There’s a petition to force Congress to allow domestic drilling. The website is American Solutions and there is a ton of information there. I signed it, and you should too.

FAIR USE bill Opposed by RIAA - No Really…

There are numerous stories out there about this, but I chose the article at PC World.

The Freedom and Innovation Revitalizing U.S. Entrepreneurship (A.k.A. FAIR USE) bill introduced to Congress Tuesday shows some initiative by the U.S. Government. It seems that at least some of our Congress-critters actually care about “We the People.” It helps lessen the effects of the anti-consumer DMCA our Government unleashed on our unsuspecting nation. Some argue that this bill doesn’t go far enough while others argue that it’s a good start. And (surprise surprise) the RIAA is against it. (imagine that)

Henry Rollins “America is under attack.”

When I saw this I was in awe. I have few words that can describe what I’m feeling. But honestly, we should all be pissed off, speak out against what’s wrong, and act now. Nothing pisses me off and saddens me more than the sorry state of the US. We allowed this all to happen, so it’s up to us to fix it. Our Government should be protecting our freedoms and liberties as much as they are claiming to protect us from terrorists. They have lied, cheated, and stolen our basic human rights in the name of the “War on Terror.” Since we must endure another 2 years with the current Bush Administration, I say we let him know just what we think.

Speak with your vote….

There comes a time in every person’s life when they have to say, “enough is enough!” Well, today, enough is enough!

Today I read an article at Rolling Stone that really kind of hit home with me. It’s about politics. It’s about Congressional politics, and how they aren’t doing a damn thing for those of us living under their governmental rule. We all know helping to run a country is tough, and these guys stepped forward and took the challenge…. But really, you have to question why they did it.
